I grew up as the daughter of a fashion designer, inheriting an artistic spirit that has always guided me. Although I was drawn to art from an early age, I initially followed a more conventional path, studying business and marketing and later building a career in branding and design. Along the way, photography became my creative outlet—a way to express the artistic side of myself that had always been there.

Over time, however, I realised that art was not simply something I enjoyed—it was the path I had always been moving towards. Returning to art later in life, I brought with me years of design experience, as well as a broader perspective shaped by the different places and cultures that have been part of my life.

​

Born in Germany, I have lived in the USA, Canada, South Africa, and Spain. These experiences, together with my marriage to a South African, have deepened my appreciation for cultural heritage and the stories, traditions, and memories that shape who we are.

​

Now fully dedicated to art, I explore my own visual language through a process inspired by my studies with Nicholas Wilton. My work brings vintage photography into dialogue with expressive abstraction. Historical images serve as a point of departure, which I transform through bold colour and gestural brushwork, giving them new emotional meaning and reinterpreting fragments of history through a contemporary lens.

My work moves between two interconnected worlds: one rooted in Mallorca, its traditions, and cultural heritage, and another exploring vintage imagery from different places and eras. In both, I bring forgotten moments and stories into a new visual context.
